Fredericton is a wonderful place to live. Located in the beautiful St. John River Valley on Canada's east coast, New Brunswick's capital city combines the charm and relaxed pace of small city life with the cultural advantages offered by two universities and an active arts community. Fredericton's Jewish community is small. Since September of 2009, Rabbi Yosef Goldman has assumed the position of Rabbi in the community. Rabbi Goldman conducts all services and teaches the children Hebrew, provides religious instruction as well as organizing social and cultural activities.
We would like to help our community grow. To that end, the Fredericton Jewish community is ready to offer assistance to Jewish families in Canada or abroad wishing to settle in Fredericton. This process has been facilitated by an agreement between the Synagogue and the Province of New Brunswick to enable qualified immigrant applicants to be admitted to Canada via the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program. If you're thinking of making a move, please get in touch with us. We would love to welcome you to our community.
